ENSREG experts: Safety of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has been improved in key areas

MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – After a visit to the Belarusian nuclear power plant experts of the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG) have concluded that Minsk has increased the safety of the nuclear power plant in key areas. The fact is mentioned in a preliminary report released by the team, TASS reports.
On the basis of the available information and a visit to the nuclear power plant site the preliminary peer review report on the implementation of the Belarusian stress test national action plan concludes that progress has been made in addressing all recommendations related to seven high-priority issues.
