Belarus, European Commission discuss prospects of cooperation in nuclear safety in Minsk

MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko has met with a delegation of the European Commission led by Acting Deputy Director General for Energy Massimo Garribba, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The sides discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in the sphere of nuclear safety, the source said.

Belarusian Deputy Energy Minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk, Belarusian Deputy Emergencies Minister Anatoly Dolgolevets, and Head of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry (Gosatomnadzor) Olga Lugovskaya also took part in the meeting.
