Belarus-Russia Union State Cabinet to discuss fuel, energy budgets for 2014-2015 on 21 October

A session of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Minsk on 21 October. The session will focus on the fuel and energy budgets for 2014-2015, the press service of the Belarus government told BelTA.
Participants of the session will discuss the main parameters of the Union State budget for 2015 and the draft guidelines and top-priority tasks for the future development of the Union State in the medium term.
The economic part of the agenda also includes the expected balance of supply of and demand for the most important Union State products in 2014, the pursuance of the common structural industrial policy, the fulfillment of the action plan for the sake of forming and operating a united transport system of the Union State in 2013-2015. Apart from that, results of Belarus-Russia trade and economic cooperation in 2013 and in H1 2014 will be summed up.
The session will also touch upon the progress in fulfilling the program of concerted foreign policy actions of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in 2014-2015, the next year’s draft action plan to implement the concept for the social and economic development of the Union State in 2011-2015.
The session of the Union State Council of Ministers will also sum up results of the fulfillment of a number of scientific and technical programs. Those are the development of technologies and the startup of a pilot enterprise to make highly effective and biologically safe new-generation medications and foodstuffs based on human lactoferrin made out of animal milk (BelRosTransgen 2) in 2009-2013, the development of promising resource-saving, ecologically friendly technologies and equipment for manufacturing biologically robust combined fodders in 2011-2013, the improvement of the effectiveness of food manufacturing enterprises by processing their waste using advanced technologies and machines in 2010-2012. Participants of the session will also discuss a new draft R&D program for creating high-performance computer technologies for increasing and effectively using the resource potential of hydrocarbon raw materials of the Union State of Belarus and Russia (SKIF-NEDRA).
There are a total of 35 items on the agenda of the session. They cover all the spheres of work of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
