MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Within the framework of the emergency aid agreement Belarus will supply 500MW of electricity to Ukraine, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
Belarus started supplying electricity to Ukraine at 14:00 on 2 November upon Ukraine's request within the framework of the emergency aid agreement. Electricity will not be supplied as part of some long-term commercial contract, the press service clarified.
Belarus will continue supplying electricity to Ukraine till 21:00.
