MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian power grid feeds electricity to installations of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
According to the source, electricity supply to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been fully restored. At present the Belarusian power grid takes care of supplying electricity to installations of the nuclear power plant in Ukraine.
BelTA reported earlier that the power line connecting the 330kV substation Mozyr and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was energized on 10 March. The step allowed supplying electricity to installations of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
