MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian company OAO Belenergoremnaladka intends to design an equipment simulator for training personnel of the Lukoml state district power plant, BelTA learned from the company's Director General Sergei Kramarenko during the international information and communications technologies forum TIBO 2023.

Organizations run by the Belarusian Energy Ministry and the Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom signed an agreement in the area of building equipment simulators and digital technologies on the sidelines of TIBO 2023. The agreement was signed by the Belarusian national energy company Belenergo, OAO Belenergoremnaladka, AO Engineering and Technology Center GET, and Rosatom's country office in Belarus.

Among other things Belenergoremnaladka develops equipment simulators for training personnel of various power plants. “There is demand for it. We've recently developed such simulators for the Novopolotsk cogeneration plant, the Vitebsk cogeneration plant. The Lukoml state district power plant is next in line. By teaming up with our Russian colleagues, we will be able to create an even better product not only for Belarus but also for Russia and third countries,” Sergei Kramarenko said.

Equipment simulators allow operators to practice working with power engineering equipment in real time as they complete various tasks. “The equipment simulator itself does not heavily depend on import because it is built around algorithms implemented using Belarusian software,” the executive concluded.
