MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft intends to expand its network of electric vehicle charging stations. Head of the Oil Products Supply Office of Belorusneft's Central Office Yuri Onanchenko mentioned it in BelTA's press center.

Yuri Onanchenko said: “Belorusneft takes an active part in equipping motorway service outlets. These days we don't build refueling stations as hard as we did in the previous years. We mainly rebuild old facilities, public catering outlets, and retail areas. We reconstructed 11 facilities last year and intend to reconstruct 17 ones this year. At present we occupy 70% of Belarus' market.” In his words, Belorusneft practices uniform management and service standards and has the same requirements for all facilities.

Apart from that, the company is busy modernizing all its outlets. For instance, the number of baby changing tables is growing. Places for children's recreation are being organized to allow kids to play and draw.

Belorusneft also pays quite a lot of attention to the structure and development of the network of electric vehicle charging stations. The market is changing now. The number of electric vehicles rises. “This is why ways to set up fast charging complexes at our refueling stations and minimize the time needed to recharge electric vehicles are being sought. Apart from that, we have parking lots for caravans and we keep them in shape. We have already started working out the budget for the year 2024. We will continue developing networks of vehicle recharging stations,” the official concluded.
