MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – Belarus provides Lithuania with an unprecedented amount of information about the Belarusian nuclear power plant, BelTA learned from Head of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry (Gosatomnadzor) Olga Lugovskaya on 13 December.
In her words, two years ago Belarus signed an agreement, within the framework of which information is shared with Lithuania. “We stay in touch with our colleagues from regulatory bodies. We are always open. All the information is provided in full,” Olga Lugovskaya assured.
“The amount of technical information we try to provide our Lithuanian colleagues with is simply unprecedented. We supply no other country with as much information as Lithuanian colleagues get,” the Gosatomnadzor head said.
