Power line between Mozyr, Chernobyl nuclear power plant energized

MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – The power line connecting Mozyr and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been energized, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.

Upon instructions of the head of state steps have been taken to energize the high-voltage power line connecting the 330kV substation Mozyr and power grid installations of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The work has enabled the possibility of supplying electricity to installations of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
