The company Bel Huawei Technologies, the Belarusian Education Ministry and the Communications and Information Technology Ministry have signed a trilateral memorandum of cooperation in the organization of the educational project Seeds for the Future, BelTA has learned.
During the signing ceremony, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin said that the document will provide Belarusian students with another opportunity to contribute to the development of high technology. He noted that the ten students who, thanks to Bel Huawei Technologies, will undergo a two-week training program in China will be able to use the most advanced Chinese practices of IT development.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Belarusian First Deputy Education Minister Vadim Bogush and First Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dmitry Shedko who emphasized the importance of Belarusian-Chinese joint IT projects.
On behalf of the Chinese side, the memorandum was inked by Bel Huawei Technologies Director Pang Yong. He said that the Chinese company will do its best to draw Belarusian specialists to its projects. The project Seeds for the Future aims to encourage Belarusian youth to study new technologies.
Chairman of the Belarus-China Friendship Society Anatoly Tozik said that, by exchanging best practices, the two countries can implement many new interesting projects.
