Belarus 24 TV channel presented at CSTB'2015 expo in Moscow

The presentation of the Belarus 24 satellite TV channel took place at the 17th International Exhibition and Forum CSTB'2015 on 27 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia.
According to chief director of the TV channel Yelena Ladutko, the Belarus 24 is an information and publicist TV channel which highlights the events in Belarus and in the entire world. In her words, the TV channel aims to create the positive image and enhance the authority of Belarus on the international arena, strengthen the information ties of ethnic Belarusians with their native land, provide timely and accurate coverage of events and achievements in Belarus. The research shows that in 2014 the number of viewers in Russia increased two times to 22.3 million people as against 2013.
At the presentation Minister Counselor Pavel Legky handed over the official letter of thanks from the Belarusian embassy in Russia to Yelena Ladutko in recognition of the professional coverage of Belarusian events abroad, active participation in the information coverage of the Union State construction process, in connection with the 10th anniversary of the Belarus 24 international satellite TV channel.
The annual exhibition and forum CSTB is a high-profile media event in the sphere of television and telecommunications in Eastern Europe. The expo displays achievements in digital broadcasting, cable and satellite television, IPTV, Internet TV, HDTV, broadband, mobile TV, content, services of multiservice network operators, satellite communication. This year’s forum includes 120 reports in 14 sections. The CSTB'2015 expo will stay open till 29 January.
