Belarus is taking part in Hannover Messe 2015, the world's biggest industrial fair, running in Germany from 13 to 17 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This year the event features over 6,500 exhibitors from 70 countries. "Belarus traditionally presents advanced samples and developments of the domestic research organizations and enterprises at Hannover Messe. In 2015, the exhibition brings together 16 Belarusian exhibitors affiliated with the State Science and Technology Committee, Education Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences, and a number of private companies,” informed the press service.
At the invitation of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the Belarus Embassy attended the exhibition to get acquainted with the main elements of the exposition, participate in the business forum on opportunities for economic cooperation with Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine and Poland, and meet with the Belarusian exhibitors, including representatives of the National Agency for Investment and Privatization, and the administration of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone.
During the meetings the parties discussed the ways of increasing the Belarusian high-tech exports to Germany, expanding bilateral cooperation in science and technology, and carrying out information campaigns about Belarus.
