Belarusian State University to take part in St. Petersburg Technical Fair 2015

The Belarusian State University (BSU) will present its R&D projects at the St. Petersburg Technical Fair 2015 on 25-27 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State University.
All in all, the BSU will present 25 projects: the latest achievements of the university in the field of mechanical engineering and instrument making, chemistry, medicine, food industry and biotechnology. The Belarusian university has submitted 20 projects for the contest for the best innovative project and the best R&D which will be organized during the fair.
For example the BSU will submit the instrument to measure bacteria viability based on biochips. The device has been designed and tested at the BSU national training center of particle physics and high energy. This device is intended for use in practical and experimental microbiology for the rapid detection and identification of infectious agents by "fingerprints".
The Belarusian State University has participated in the St. Petersburg Technical Fair since 2005 and has been a repeated winner in several nominations.
