Gansu center of commerce and science opens at BNTU

The center of commerce, science, technology, education and culture of China's Gansu Province opened in Minsk on 14 September, BelTA has learned.
The center was opened at the BNTU science and technology park Polytechnic. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming stressed at the opening ceremony that the center aims to facilitate the implementation of joint projects.
In his words, the Belarusian-Chinese top-level agreements are in the spotlight. The two leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in all avenues. The sides have already stepped up cooperation efforts, and the visit of the delegation of the Chinese Gansu province administration is a testimony to that. The delegation includes representatives of the province administration and big Chinese companies.
Alexander Tsyganov, Vice Rector for Scientific Research and International Cooperation of the Belarusian National Technical University, believes that the opening of the center of China's Gansu Province will make a big contribution to the development of Belarus-China ties.
Gansu has an over 2,200-year-long history. This north-western province is located 200km far from Xian.
