Roscosmos pleased with NASB's space exploration effort

The Russian space agency Roscosmos has noticed positive changes in space exploration efforts of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Roscosmos head Igor Komarov made the statement as he met with Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov on 23 June, BelTA has learned.
“The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus pays close attention to the development of the space industry, in particular, the enterprises Peleng and Integral. We see serious positive changes. We see that a lot of attention is paid to the competitive ability of these enterprises. Roscosmos is interested in cooperation with Belarusian enterprises because of that. We see serious prospects,” stressed Igor Komarov.
In his words, the creation of the Belarusian-Russian satellite for the remote sensing of the Earth will be one of the key matters on agenda of the talks at premises of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. “Technical requirements for the satellite are being determined as well as the primary parameters. We are also going to discuss how the project should be implemented with regard to production, the launch of the satellite and further usage of the information,” noted the Roscosmos head.
