Soyuz MS-24 with Belarusian cosmonaut on board undocks from ISS

MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – The crew transfer vehicle Soyuz MS-24 with the Belarusian cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya on board has undocked from the International Space Station (ISS), BelTA has learned.
Before the undocking procedure began, the crew consisting of the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, the Belarusian cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya, and the NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara checked the air tightness of the transfer hatches and put on spacesuits. After that the cosmonauts entered the reentry module, closed the hatch to the crew compartment, and checked the air tightness of the hatch and the spacesuits.
The crew transfer vehicle is scheduled to turn on the engines to leave the orbit at 9:24 Minsk time. The vehicle’s compartments are to be separated at 9:52. The reentry module is to enter the atmosphere at 9:54. The main parachute will be triggered at 10:03. The module is expected to land at 10:18.
