Thirteen big Chinese companies to become residents of Great Stone park

Thirteen big Chinese companies are planning to become residents of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone, head of the park’s administration Andrei Gal said at the Belarusian-Chinese business forum on 11 May, BelTA has learned.
Such big Chinese corporations as Huawei and ZTE have already been registered as the park’s residents. “We have also signed 13 letters of intent with other large Chinese companies,” Andrei Gal said. He stressed that the park has all tools to become a platform for raising the inflow of investment and advanced technologies to the Belarusian economy.
The concept of the part provides for the favorable infrastructure for business development, considerable long-term tax preferences for the participants of the project, comprehensive services for the residents of the park. Necessary administrative procedures for the residents and investors of the park are implemented very quickly, the head of the park’s administration said.
Andrei Gal also spoke about the progress in construction works on the territory of the park. The construction of the infrastructure in the initial zone will be completed in October 2016. By late 2016 – early 2017 there are plans to commission an administrative building with the total area of about 10,000 square meters and a production facility with the area of 8,000 square meters. The head of the park’s administration stressed that potential residents of the park already have an opportunity to design their facilities at the initial platform.
The Chinese-Belarusian industrial Park Great Stone is located 25km far from Minsk in Smolevichi District. It is situated in the vicinity of the international airport, railways, the transnational motorway Berlin-Moscow. The park will include industrial and residental zones, offices, trade and entertainment facilities, financial and research centers.
